A few days ago I showed you how to make Fireworks with a fork. This is along the same idea but has a twist… my girls had so much fun making and painting fireworks. I love to see how creative they become. They thought these ones looked more like the fountain fireworks you let off at home.
All you need is:
A fork, plastic or metal, both work
A paper plate for the paint
Paper
Start by dropping the paint in “drops” onto the paper. You can use as many colors as you want. Keep in mind you need to work kind of fast, if the paint dries you won’t be able to spread it with a fork to give it the firework burst look.
Fold the paper in half and press it together to spread the paint. Open it back up and then take a fork and use short strokes to make the paint dots look like they are exploding. As you drag the fork it will transfer some of the color from dot to dot, giving it a very fun 3D burst look.
