  1. Oh don’t get me started on how people dress! I’ll just say that my children will not be wearing two piece suits unless their bellies are covered and they are not too revealing. When they are 18, they can make their own decisions but I hope that they will have enough respect for themselves that they don’t need to show off their bodies in public.

I’m with you. We were at a waterpark last week with our children. I’m not a prude by any means but I noticed my 11 year old daughter watching the women and even young girls wearing skimpy bathing suits. We don’t let her wear things like that and her interest was peaked. My problem is there’s a time and place for scantily clad and it’s not around children. It’s hard enough already trying to teach my girls the value of one’s body

I went to a water park recently and I think one piece should be mandatory for them. Seriously do women realize how ridiculous they look trying to grab their top every time a wave comes in the wave pool? Or constantly yanking on their bottoms because they fall down?

She is sharing a deal & adding her opinion, again this is her page, if you don’t like it why do you follow it

  5. Yvonne Navarrette

True that. Shouldn’t we also take into consideration the children that are present and try to be role models

I went to a water park mot tp long ago it is mainly kids there no. I also think that suit would be prettier on people that are scantily dressed. You have every right to voice your opinion on your page. Bravo to you

Went to the water park yesterday myself. Right when it opened and everyone was taking off the clothes they were wearing over their suits. I happened to be waiting in the restroom with my daughter and I remember thinking how sad that so many women seemed to be looking at each other and spending so much time trying to fix themselves in the mirror before going out. Honestly I became self conscious myself and my bathing suits are very similar to the ones posted. I think we should stop worrying so much about looking pretty in our suits and just have fun.

I love this and I love your site and page! It’s nice to see more modest options! I tire quickly of seeing other people’s skimpy suits and wardrobe malfunctions!

Then dont read it and move on to the next post, not that hard. No need to be rude ..they do a service for all of us. One that we do not want or have time to do, they do a lot of work and pass on deals so we don’t have to.

THAT was weird…anyway, the swimsuits are very cute. Thanks for the post.

  11. Absolutely correct about opinions. That’s what I love about our country. I was just trying to offer the other side of the coin’s point of view in a (hopefully) non-abrasive manner.
Circumstances in my life have opened my eyes to many ways of thinking, and I’ve come to realize that there are many people who are very uncomfortable showing their bodies so they may seem to wear odd things when in the water. On the other hand, there are others who don’t mind flaunting what they have and are comfortable enough with who they are to not worry about how they look.

I’m so blind. They say to use their size guide towards the left of the product image instead of Amazon’s size chart, but I can’t find it.

LOVE how you tagged me & then went back to untag me.
I have no time for your games

  14. This was her opinion. Her page….her opinion. Not hard to figure out.

  15. A Thrifty Mom

Krista Reztarp Facebook does the tagging.. do you think we do that manually? with 170,000 followers it would be impossible to manually tag each person.. i never said people have to wear something… can a person not have an opinion? this is a deal, recipe, how to, and family website… we post deals recipes and other family topics including my family… so you you dont want me posting my opinion on my site, then you are free to post your opinion on your own website…

  16. Krista Reztarp

A Thrifty Mom I actually already did. I would have never come back had my name not been tagged.
There are HUNDREDS of other coupon/deal pages who dole out the deals & keep their personal opinions where they belong.
    ON THEIR PERSONAL PAGE.

Never said people had to wear them…. Just what I personally prefer. Just because you do not agree with my opinion does not make yours or mine wrong. That’s the great thing about opinions we all get to have our own.

  18. Becky Brandon Cross Wright

Many people would agree. I guess I am just not seeing the big deal but some people just like being miserable.

  19. A Thrifty Mom

Krista Reztarp yes you are welcome to unfollow us if you don’t like our views or opinions

  20. Amber Lynn McClain

Well, you can always unfollow her if it’s that big of a deal to you!

  21. Becky Brandon Cross Wright

She isn’t telling people what to wear. Her opinion is they would look prettier on women. So….women have the right to be half naked but don’t use your freedom of speech to say you’d think a more modest suit is prettier. Don’t want to “offend” people. Goodlands.

  22. Becky Brandon Cross Wright

She can’t say she thinks people would be prettier in a more modest suit??? Ha-ha wow. She isn’t telling people what to wear.

  23. Amber Murrell Rogers

While they are attractive suits, it’s not up to you to say what others should wear. If they like how they look and aren’t legally over exposed, keep it to yourself.

  24. We live in America. We can choose what we wish to wear, and luckily no one tells us what we can or cannot wear, as long as our naughty bits are covered. Whether we look “prettier” or more handsome in our chosen clothing is our own choice. I honestly hope that we aren’t going backwards in time to the eras in which society deemed what we must wear. That’s something to consider here, although I think I get what you’re saying. I’m sure you didn’t consider the other side of that coin.

  25. Amber Lynn McClain

Seriously?…… It’s a one piece, not a damn robe. Calm down.

  26. Amber Lynn McClain

I do prefer a more modest swimsuit, but not everyone does. It’s all a matter of preference, and even for those of us who prefer not to see practically every inch of other peoples’ bodies, we have to accept that we all have the freedom to choose what to wear when we get wet.

  27. Megan Blakeslee Rambo

Agreed. We went to the river today and the same thing. Even young girls! Like my little boy’s age. There are cute suits that don’t show almost everything and that don’t look like the picture immediately above. 🙂

Thank you!! I have been looking for a new swim suit and I like to be covered up
