Yesterday was a very busy day. We started our day very early (at least for us) with a trip to Johnstown, where we caught a train to Harrisburg. It was Mason’s first train ride so he was quite excited. After arriving in Harrisburg, we checked into our hotel and went looking for food. Mason choose Chinese which surprised me. He had a huge plate of food and managed to polish off more than half. After lunch we were off to the capital building. We had a private tour and everyone had a great time. It is a beautiful building with an abundance of art and marble and gold nearly everywhere you looked. We all learned a great deal and Mason was very interested, asking some very good questions. After our tour and a short walk around the area, we headed back to our room. A few games of UNO, I Spy and 20 questions and we were ready for a small dinner. After dinner, a little TV and it was time for bed.
