Todays Thankful Thoughts…
- I am Thankful that I have my mom hear to celebrate the holidays. Last year she was fighting for her life with breast cancer. She was able to beat it and thank GOD for that.
- I am so thankful to God. My husband has been out of work for over two years. We have been blessed with four wonderful children. I am thankful we are still in our house and able to put food on our table. Things are getting tougher, but God is always there to pick us up.
- I’m thankful for warm water
- I have so much to be Thankful for everyday…It’s the little things that I am the most thankful for each moment. I have an attitude of gratitude everyday. Each day there seems to be a little tender mercy along my path. Today Coastal Contacts offered free glasses. This couldn’t have come at a better time. My husband is currently unemployed, we have NO insurance, and my 8 year old desperately needed glasses. We took her to Costco to get her eyes checked and paid for the exam, which all we had money to do. Today I was able to order her a pair of glasses for shipping cost only. I had little problem getting onto the website, which most people were complaining about. Tears came down my face as I placed the order and paid only $10 for shipping. Each day there seems to be different type of experience, that makes me feel loved and grateful for a loving God who is watching over us and helping.
- I am thankful for having food for my family for dinner……..and a house to live in for now….
- Today I am thankful for one of my amazing teachers in nursing school, Faith. Faith has more compassion in one finger than I do in my entire body. She reminds me how incredibly important kindness and love are to the healing process. Faith inspires me to be a better person, every single day.
- Today I am extremely thankful that my coworker survived and is ok after being hit and rolling over in her SUV after an officer who ran a red light hit her. Thank the Lord! I am also very thankful that one of my clients invited me over to take part in her home school academy Thanksgiving feast. A jar containing “thankful” notes from children at the school was passed around for everyone to read out loud. The children were so grateful for some of the simplest little pleasures in life and I could not help but feel so humbled and teary eyed. For this wonderful experience I was able to take part in, I am thankful!
- I am thankful for God’s Many blessings even though i dont deserve them ?
- I am thankful for the missionaries who always seem to just drop by right when I need a little bit of sunshine in my day!
- I am thankful for my 2 children. We had our first son 10 years after being married (not our plan, God’s plan). We had our daughter just under 3 years later. We are thankful that He blessed us with these two adorable kids. I am thankful for our family who is very involved with them and help us out when needed.
- I am especially thankful today. I just found out that the biopsy of my cousins lymphnodes was completely negative!! He is only 19 and an amazing kid who has already endured many surgeries when he was little following a car accident and he does not deserve anymore pain or worrying. What they thought could have been cancer turned out to be a bad bacterial infection. Thank you God!
