Alaska Coupon Diva has figured out a way to get both Tinkerbell and Beauty and the Beast Blu-Ray combos for just $20 total at Toys R Us. Here is my link:
- Before September 21st, go in and reserve Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue on DVD/ Blu-Ray combo for $29.99. You will pay $10 and get a $10 Toys R Us gift card back.
- Then after September 21st, go in to reserve Beauty and the Beast Combo pack for $29.99. When you preorder it you will get $10 off another DVD set that is over $19.99. At this point you will buy Tinkerbell and use your $10/1 coupon. You already paid $10 and you will get $10 off with the Beauty and the Beast pre -order and another $10 for the coupon so you will just pay $10 to hold your Beauty and the Beast copy.
- When Beauty and the Beast releases, go back to buy the movie. Use your $10/1 Beauty and the Beast coupon and then the $10 gift card you got from reserving Tinkerbell. You will not owe anything else. When all is said and done you will have paid $20 total for both Blu-Ray/ DVD combo packs and saved $40!
If you are going to be purchasing any other items at Toys R Us, use this $5 off a $25 purchase coupon to sweeten the deal. We will also be on the look out for any rebates to make these deals sweeter so be sure to hold onto those receipts!
Readers update***I just returned from Toys R Us and found out that they have been having a lot of trouble with the movie deal. In the beginning – if you were using the $10 Tinkerbell coupon, the additional $10 was not coming off of Tinkerbell when you pre-ordered Beauty and the Beast at the same time. The cashier told me that because of all the issues, corporate was only allowing the use of the $10 Tinkerbell coupon – you can’t pre-order Beauty and the Beast in the same transaction. So I still ended up paying an additional $10 for the Tinkerbell movie today. I did get the $10 gift card though. It can be used when I go back to get Beauty and the Beast, but the cashier did not know if this will happen with Toy Story 3 when Beauty and the Beast comes out. On the plus side – they do have a free Tinkerbell watch that I got today for buying the Tinkerbell combo pack – good only while supplies last though. Hope this makes sense…it took me a minute to figure it all out.
