I had my nine year old daughter write a list of fun things that she wants to do this summer. Some things that she wrote down were; fishing (with her dad – since he has the license), camping, walking to get ice cream (a mile walk from our house), and the zoo (we have 4.00 days once a month). I had to tell her that “Great Wolf” was not “cheap” summer fun…

We needed to get the yard ready to mow tonight. So my three year old and I went on a “treasure hunt” in our backyard for all of his toys. He pulled the wagon around and we “unburried” all of his toys from our tall grass and put them in the “treasure chest.”
