My kids are in love with the new movie Trolls! I personally have not seen it yet, my kids went with their Granny to see the show. But I have heard all about it, and how much they love it. I predict there are going to be a lot of Trolls themed parties over the next year. I have an easy Trolls themed craft for you. As well as an amazing Hasbro Trolls Toy Giveaway! Trolls Party Ideas Easy Crafts For Kids
What you need:
- Pencils ( I got mine at the dollar store)
- Fake fur, about an 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch square for each pencil
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Colored felt
- Wiggly Eyes
I got my fake fur from Joanns Fabric. I was able to buy a 3 inch strip for only $1.24 (they were having a 40% off sale). This strip was MORE than what I needed. But they said they had a “minimum of cut of 3 inches”. I was happy to pay the $1.24. If I wanted it could easily provide me enough fur to make about 60 pencils. This craft is so fun and LOW COST too!
Start by cutting a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch square of fake fur for your Trolls hair. When you cut the fur, use your fingers to create a part to try and avoid cutting off the long hair. Use the hot glue to wrap the fur around the pencil. If your child plans to use the pencil, remember to leave the eraser exposed. Glue your eyes on, and a felt nose. Easy as that you are done!
