Recently I posted this 1950s Rockabilly 3/4 Sleeve party Dress
I love the fabric it is does not wrinkle and is very soft and conformable. I was a little surprised by how stretchy it was, as you can see in the photo above I have a LOT of room to grow if I wanted to. But I love how it fits and does not hug my tummy, which happens to be where I carry my extra weight. And if I am not careful I end up looking 5 months pregnant in some clothes… this dress was awesome and hiding my stomach!
I did order a large, but could have gotten away with a medium maybe even a small with how stretchy the fabric is. My bust is 37 inches, waist 34, hips 37…. as you can tell I do not have a lot of natural curves. That is why I ordered the large I wanted to make sure the waist was going to be big enough.
The length was PERFECT, I like my dresses to hit me right below my knee. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and this dress was the perfect length for me. I do wish the skirt had a little more volume to give it that “full” look but you can easily achieve that with a petticoat slip you can get them low as $5-$7 each so I might try one to see how it changes the look of the dress.

Fits you well in the top! Maybe buy a tulle under skirt to give it that poof that you are wanting. Or try heavy starch in the skirt. Just ideas.

I received this dress as a review at a discount a awhile back and ended up returning it. The body of the dress fit well, but the sleeves were much too small.
