Watermelon Lemonade – Easy to Make & Delicious
Hey all, it’s Katie! One of my favorite fruits during summer is watermelon! I love a cold slice on a hot day. If you like watermelon too you’ll love this Watermelon Lemonade!
If you’re having a BBQ or party this summer this watermelon lemonade is sure to be a hit! It’s super easy to whip up and your friends and family will love this refreshing drink.
Lemonade – Our favorite brands are Simply and Newman’s Own. Or you can make it from scratch.
Watermelon – Get a seedless one if you can!
1 Can Soda – I have used Squirt or Gingerale. Both tasted great!
- Cut up the watermelon and then blend it in you blender until smooth with 1/2 -1 can soda. I did it straight in my pitcher with an immersion blender.
2. Pour the watermelon through a fine mesh strainer to remove any fibrous pieces or seeds left. You can skip this step if your used a seedless melon and don’t mind pulp.
3. Mix watermelon and lemonade and enjoy! You could make a big batch and serve it in a drink dispenser like this one or you can do individual glasses. A good ratio is 1 part melon to 2 parts lemonade. But you can adjust it easily to your taste. If you like it more sour add more lemonade!
You can make this a fun slushie treat if you freeze the watermelon for 1 hour before you blend it.
