We were given the opportunity to use a $100.00 Sears Gift Card and see what Thrifty deals we could find. Sounds fun right?
One of the best things about a Sears Gift Card is, you can use it at Sears, Kmart and Land’s End instore or online. We decided to use ours at Kmart. We do not normally shop at Kmart, so I was not sure what to expect.
I was excited to find all the summer items 75% off. We were able to get lots of outdoor toys, and an adorable sandbox for our kids for only $19 (normally $80). Matt wears shorts year round, we found him 3 pair for only $5 (normally $27). Maleeya really needed a few new shirts for school and I was happy to find her long sleeve shirts 50% off.
$100.00 sound like a lot of money but it does not last long when you are buying for a family of 6, but I felt really good about the items we got. When it was all said and done we were able to buy $312.00 worth of items for only $98.72…. a thrifty deal in my book!
