I have always wanted to try these bags of broccoli slaw, but never had any idea what to make with them.  My sister in law made this Crunchy Broccoli Slaw and Ranch Salad at our last family  dinner and everyone loved it.  We ate every last bite, I was surprised to see how easy it was to make and the fact that all my kids LOVED it made it a “keeper” for  our family recipe book.

This recipe makes  a LARGE bowl, about 18 cups of salad so it is great to take a picnic or family gathering.

I think the mayo is used to make the ranch dressing (I've never made it before, not a huge ranch fan) but I know she mentioned in the directions making her own.

Is that a jar of Mayo behind the ranch dressing? Does it go into the salad?
