Crunchy Broccoli Slaw and Ranch Salad
I have always wanted to try these bags of broccoli slaw, but never had any idea what to make with them. My sister in law made this Crunchy Broccoli Slaw and Ranch Salad at our last family dinner and everyone loved it. We ate every last bite, I was surprised to see how easy it was to make and the fact that all my kids LOVED it made it a “keeper” for our family recipe book.
This recipe makes a LARGE bowl, about 18 cups of salad so it is great to take a picnic or family gathering.
To make this salad you will need:
- 1 – 32oz bag of Broccoli Slaw (2lbs)
- 1 cup sunflower nuts/ seeds
- 2-3 packages of crushed ramen noodles (withOUT the seasoning packet)
- 2 cups of Ranch Dressing (you can use the bottled kind, but making it from scratch is SO much better)
- Salt and pepper (optional)
Mix the Ranch dressing, with the broccoli slaw, sunflower seeds. Stir in the crushed noodles right before serving. Easy as that you have a salad that your whole family will love.

I think the mayo is used to make the ranch dressing (I’ve never made it before, not a huge ranch fan) but I know she mentioned in the directions making her own.
Is that a jar of Mayo behind the ranch dressing? Does it go into the salad?
Pinned this one too! Thanks we have been getting into broccoli slaw too. Going to have to try this one. Heidi bet you would like this one!
