DIY Bleach Art Pillow Case ~ Quick and easy craft idea

DIY Bleach Art Pillow Case, quick and easy craft project. Perfect for teens or tweens #Bleach, #Craft, #DIYI was folding laundry this week,  I came across this old red pillow case.  It is very faded and the fabric is starting to get thin, we have had it for years.  I was about to toss it in the trash then I decided I would let the girls do a craft projects with it.  We did bleach art on it.  They thought it was SO COOL, now we are never going to get rid of this old pillow case LOL.  I guess I will let them love it till it totally falls apart.

Colored Pillow Cases or T-shirts

Contact Paper

Bleach or Clorox

Spray bottle

The bottle I used did not produce a fine mist, a FINE mist if best as it coats the fabric but does not make it totally wet.   When the fabric is wet it tends to bleed more so my star lines were not perfectly defined. Spray the area you want to turn white, allow to dry then pull off the contact paper.  Rinse the pillow case and wash before you use it.

Simple as that you have a fun art project, if teens or tweens do this project make sure they are well supervised by a parent.
