Easy paper Candy Corns
Are you looking for a fun and easy, low cost Halloween craft for kids? Then you are in luck these Easy paper Candy Corns turn out adorable and are budget friendly as well! Perfect for kids of all ages!
What you need to make this project:
Yellow, white, & orange tissue paper
Paper plate
Scissors
Elmer’s glue or glue stick
Start out by cutting your tissue paper into small squares, 1-2 inch squares will do the trick. Spread a thin layer of glue over the plate (make sure it is thin). Start with a circle around the outside of the plate, do 2-3 rows of orange squares.
Check your glue if it has dried add a little more to the middle, start making a yellow circle around the edge. Once again do a few rows of yellow. In the middle stick down your white squares.
Now you need to let your project dry, if you spread the glue thin enough you should be ready to cut in about 15 minutes. Cut the plate across as if you were cutting a pizza to make 8 triangles. You now have 8 candy corn decorations that you can use as table decorations, put on a string for a garland, or add to a wreath. So many fun ways to use them.
These are great for all age levels from pre-school up to middle school. Great low cost craft to do for school parties.
