Homemade Snickers

Homemade Snickers are so much better than store bought! You can use the type of chocolate you prefer. Milk, dark or even white. These tasty bites are a yummy addition to your holiday goodie plates, or to have at your next holiday part.

Homemade Snickers

Why eat the store bought Snickers when you can make your own and have them just the way you like them?!

You will need:

12 oz. Milk Chocolate Chips (or chips of your choice)

1 Cup Caramel Bits

1 Tbsp. Water

½ Cup Roasted Salted Peanuts, chopped

12 Muffin liners and a muffin tin

Begin by putting your muffin lines into your muffin tin and set aside.

In a microwave safe bowl melt your chocolate chips in 30 second increments, stirring between each set so you don’t burn the chocolate. Scoop about 2 tsp of the chocolate into the bottom of your muffin tins.

In another microwave safe bowl mix the caramel bits and water. Microwave in 30 second increments until smooth and spreadable. Stir in the chopped peanuts. Add about a tablespoon of mixture into the muffin tins on top of the chocolate.

You may need to reheat your chocolate as when you are done adding the caramel. When it is melted again, scoop another couple teaspoons to cover the caramel.

Let cool to set. If you’d like you can place it in your fridge for 10-15 minutes to help it set up.

There you have it! A tasty homemade version of Snickers!
