Most of you know we do not eat out very often, I tend to cook most our meals at home. BUT even I like a break, and a quick dinner solution. If you look at my calendar this month it is CRAZY, something every single day and with 4 kids I am going 10 ways a once. So this week we let KCF put dinner on the table for under $20 (not bad for my little family of 6).
I walked in saw a huge sign telling me about the Festive Feast. KFC’s newest limited-time offer product— the ever-popular Festive Feast, which is back for this holiday season. KFC’s Festive Feast includes eight pieces of freshly-prepared chicken, two home-style side favorites, four warm, flaky biscuits and a dozen chocolate chip cookies — all for just $19.99.
I ordered it, got a mixed bucket of both original and grilled chicken. I was out the door in less than 5 minutes that was easy :). Once at home I set the table and had dinner on in no time. Hungry tummies were full and my kids were all happy as can be. The bucket is a mix of dark meat ( I prefer white meat) but it is actually a better fit for my family cause it gives all the kids their own chicken leg, which they normally fight over. After their tummies were full, they where beyond excited to see me pull a box of cookies out. They were still warm too… with ooey gooey chocolate chips. I am totally impressed with how good they were. I may or may not have eaten a few more after the kids went to bed :).
So my family gives the Festive Feast a HUGE thumbs up and I think we will be grabbing this for dinner again before the end of the month.
