I have posted my Butterscotch Sweet Roll Recipe before, I love them but they take 6 hours – overnight to make. So I created a QUICK and EASY version that tastes just as good and it is so much faster. Best part is they only take 5 ingredients to make!
Pecan Butterscotch Rolls Recipe ~ Quick and Easy with only 5 ingredients
You will need
- 1 Grands Flakey Biscuits 16 oz (cut the biscuits in half)
- 1 small box “cook & Serve” Butterscotch Pudding powder plus 1/4 cup water (Not Instant! ! !)
- 1 cube melted butter (1/2 cup)
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. First take your butter and grease the bottom of a 9X9 inch baking dish. Then sprinkle the nuts in an even layer over the bottom of the baking dish. Take the raw biscuits cut in half and put them in rows, evenly spread on the bottom of the pan on top of the nuts. I put them cut side up (s0 the rounded edge is facing down). Set aside and work on topping… in a medium sauce pan add butter, brown sugar, butterscotch pudding powder and water. Stir over medium heat till butter is melted and it starts to boil. As soon as it starts to boil take off heat and pour over the top of the biscuits in the pan.
Put in oven and bake for 17-24 minutes. If you use a convection oven they should be done in 17 minutes, a standard oven will take a bit longer. Take out of oven, at this point you can flip them onto a serving dish so they will be sticky side up. OR you can serve them right from the pan. Best when eaten warm.

This is a family favorite I grew up eating. My mom added coconut though. I made this recipe for my family the other day for the first time myself. I flipped the pan when they came out of the oven and they look gorgeous. I will see if they like it as much as I did as a kid.
