Swirl Vase ~ Tie Dye Upcycle Vase, Kids Crafts

Kids Craft DIY Art Project, Upcycle Mothers Day swirl vase, turn a glass jar into a beautiful vase with nail polish and water, girls scouts or primary chruch groups would love this craft ideaMy daughter was challenged to upcycle or reuse something that would have otherwise  gone into the trash.  I was making dinner and told her to make something out of the empty Ragu jar I had just used for dinner. She had lots of ideas, but we decided to see if we could make a tie dye vase.  I have used nail polish and water to  Tie Dye Easter Eggs so we wanted to see if it would work on a glass jar too.

It worked great and we ended up making several of them. Great craft project for kids, or teens.  They would look great as table centerpieces too. If you have a child would wants to make a vase for Mothers Day this is a great budget friendly idea.

You can watch how to make your very own Swirl Tie Dye Upcycle Glass Jar Vase here.

If it doesn’t spread you can shake the water a bit or you can take the skewer and spread it that way

I found out that you can let the polish dry, take a skewer and clean it up without a tissue

Now I know what to do with all the nail polish I confiscate from my kids since It’s not allowed in my house due to a kiddo having reactions to the fumes
