 Baked French Toast Cinnamon Apple

This recipe is QUICK AND EASY but turns out amazing every time.  It gets a little crisp on the outside and the inside is super moist and filled with gooey goodness.  I tell you it is AMAZING, topped with a little fresh shipped cream you will be licking you plate asking for more!

  • 8 cup cubed bread ( you can use french bread, I like Granny Sycamores Sandwich bread)
  • 1 cup peeled diced apples (about the size of a pencil eraser)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 7 eggs whipped
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 cups half and half
  • Mini Loaf Pan 
  • Whip Cream or maple syrup for garnish

Baked French Toast Cinnimon Apple, Quick and easy recipe that is AWESOME, #BreakfastRecipe #BakedRecipeHeat oven to 350 degrees, coat mini loaf pan or 9X13 casserole dish with nonstick spray and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl whip together the melted butter, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, eggs, and half and half.  Once they are well blended add the cubed bread and apples.  Mix together well, let sit for 5-10 minutes while the bread soaks up most the liquid. Once it has set, spoon the mixture into prepared pan.  Bake at 350, the Mini Loaf Pan only needs 30-35 mins to bake, while the casserole dish will take 45-50 minutes.

You can also prepare the bread/ egg mixture the night before for a quick and easy breakfast idea.  Just pop it into the oven after it has soaked overnight.  You might need to adjust cooking time since it will be cold from sitting in the refrigerator

Ham and Cheese Sliders Recipe – Make the Night Before – Quick and Easy

We love this recipe! We recently made them at the beach! Its so easy, you just make them the night before. Let the soak and then cook them for lunch the next day! So so so good. It’s one of the easiest and best recipes around!

You will need

  • 2 dozen rolls (sliced in half)
  • 1 lb Swiss Cheese sliced
  • 2 Lbs sliced Ham

Sauce:

  • 1 Cup Butter melted
  • 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Poppy Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

It will  be a recipe we make again, for sure!

Slice rolls in half, and add ham and Cheese.  Then put top back on. Place them on a large baking sheet. I had to use 2 cookie sheets.

Mix sauce in bowl, and stir to help dissolve sugar.

Brush sauce liberally on top of each roll, Drizzle any extra over the top.

Cover, and place in the refrigerator overnight.

Bake the next morning at 325 degrees, for 25 minutes COVERED with foil.

Then remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes longer.

FRESH BLUEBERRY BREAKFAST CAKE RECIPE, easy to make and taste AMAZING!!!

Fresh Blueberry Breakfast Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3/4  cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 stick  butter room temp ( not melted)
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk or half and half
  • 1  cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup white sugar  SAVE FOR THE TOP

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease  9×13 pan

In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and sugar. In another bowl, combine butter, egg, and milk and mix well.  Combine wet and dry ingredients. DO NOT OVER stir, just combined. Take half the batter and press into the bottom of a greased pan.  Add fresh berries on top.

Then add the other half of the batter in spoonfuls to the top of the blue berries.  Sprinkle the top with the 1/4 cup  white sugar.  Bake for 30-35 min or until the top is  golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center  comes out clean. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Cranberry Orange Pecan Muffins Recipe

In a bowl mix,

  • 3/4 cups softened butter
  • 1 (8oz) cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups sugar

Mix till well blended then add

  • 2 large eggs
  • zest from 2 medium oranges
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice with pulp
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

In another bowl mix dry ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Once you have the dry ingredients mixed in, fold in

  • 1/2 cup Crasins minced or chopped (dried cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Slowly add to wet ingredients, Don’t over mix it… Spoon into muffin tin with paper liners or greased cups.  Yields 24 muffins.  Bake the muffins at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Test it with a toothpick if it pulls out clean it should be done.  Enjoy!
