I got an email from Jennifer about a way to be Thrifty that I just knew I needed to pass along.
“I sat down today to complete all of my rebates so they could go out in the mail tomorrow. However, I couldn’t find a single envelope in the house. While searching, I ran across some old statements for bills that had return envelopes – most were window envelopes – to use when paying the bill. Since I pay most of my bills on-line, I have all of these envelopes that I can use to mail in my rebates without purchasing more. All I did was place a self-stick mailing label, which I already had, over the window opening. This is a great way to cut down on my paper purchases as well as utilizing an envelope that I would have otherwise thrown away!”
