Strawberry Limeade Easy Summer drink

When it is hot, there is nothing better then a refreshing cold drink that taste to good! It just hits the spot everytime. And when summer drinks are easy to make and take no effort it makes prep time even easier to manage in the heat of the summer! Nothing is worse in the summer time heat then to have to spend time cooking or heating up the house over the stove. Why add more heat to the stifling summer weather, when you can make meals and drinks that require no extra cooking. That’s one reason why I love this Summertime Strawberry Limeade drink. It is so easy to make and takes no time at all! You can get all the ingredients ready and keep them in the fridge and make one drink at a time or make an entire pitcher full of refreshing beverage! easy strawberry limeade drink

It takes just a few ingredients that can be found in most kitchens!

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries
  • Limes
  • Sugar
  • Crushed Ice

Cut with a knife or crush the strawberries with a fork. You want to smash them quite well to help release the juice inside. For how ever much strawberries you use you will want to use half that in sugar. So as in the recipe card below you can use one cup strawberries and half a cup sugar. Mix the strawberries and the sugar well and place in the fridge to rest and draw more fluid out of the strawberries.

While that is drawing juice, slice the limes in halves and then take one half and cut it into quarters. Sqweeze the two quarters into your mixing container or glass. Take the other half and slice it along the outside to make a round garnish to hang on the side of the glasses.

Next pour some crushed ice into your glass to about half full. Next add some Sprite or other Lemon Lime drink into your glass about 3/4 the way full. next spoon in some strawberries and juice from the bowl in the fridge. Add the juice from your 2 quarter limes, and place the lime garnish on the glass rim. Add more lime and strawberries to taste. And enjoy the cooling and refreshing Summertime Strawberry Limeade!

Ingredients
  • Sugar soak strawberries:
  • 1 Cup chopped strawberries
  • ½ Cup sugar
  • 1 lime
  • Sprite
  • Crushed ice
Instructions
  1. Soak strawberries in bowl with sugar mixed in refrigerator till liquid is pulled from strawberries
  2. In a large glass add in crushed ice.
  3. Smash up the sugar soaked strawberries.
  4. Add strawberries to glass and pour in desired amount of sprite.
  5. Squeeze in 1 lime and toss lime into drink for an extra lime taste.
  6. Enjoy!

Reece’s Peanut Butter Eggs ~ Copycat Recipe Ready in 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1?4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1?2 cup powdered sugar
  • 10 oz. dark cocoa melting chips

Directions:

1. Melt peanut butter and butter for 1 minute in microwave. Stir until blended.

2. Add vanilla and powdered sugar, mix well.

3. Divide mixture into 10 portions and form each into an egg shape. Place eggs on a parchment lined baking sheet and place in freezer for 15 minutes.

4. Melt chocolate in microwave by heating for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat the process until chocolate is melted and smooth.

5. Using a fork, dip peanut butter eggs into chocolate and flip to cover completely. Lift with fork and gently tap on edge of the bowl – allowing excess chocolate to drip off.

Cosmic Brownies Copy Cat Recipe

Moist chocolate fudgy brownies, with bright colored m&m’s on top… does it get any better than that? It sure does, when you have a WHOLE pan of them in your kitchen. This recipe is one you will soon memorize, because you make it so often. If you like recipe and would like more like it, make sure you follow our FOOD pinterest board here.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Sticks Butter, softened
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¾ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 teas. Vanilla Extract
  • ¾ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 8 oz. Semisweet Chocolate
  • ¼ – ½ Cup Mini M&Ms

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl cream together the Butter, Sugar and Brown sugar. Add in the Eggs, ¼ Cup Heavy cream and Vanilla, stir until combined. Add in the Cocoa powder and stir until combined. Add the flour 1/3 at a time stirring between each addition. Put the batter in an 8×8 or 9×9 inch pan lined with lightly greased parchment paper and bake at 350 degrees until a tooth pick comes out clean, 45-55 minutes. Remove and let cool.

In a microwaveable bowl combine the Chocolate and ½ Cup Heavy cream. Microwave on high for 30 second intervals stirring after each until the Chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour over the brownie in the pan and smooth to the edges. Sprinkle with M&Ms and refrigerate until set. Remove from the pan and cut into desired sizes. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
