Honey Pineapple Orange Grilled Pork Chop Recipe
- 1-2 lb of pork chops (I like the medium cut)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 20 oz can of Pineapple (just the juice save the fruit for grilling)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Franks Red Hot Sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 orange sliced or 2 cutie oranges sliced
- 1 clove of garlic
This marinade can be used on any cut of meat but is really good on pork chops. You can marinate overnight but I normally just make it in the morning let it sit all day and cook them up for dinner.
I always marinate them in a glass pan, but this can also be done in a gallon sized zip lock bag.Mix together your marinade (honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, mustard, hot sauce, oranges, garlic and brown sugar). Add your pork shops and place in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours. You can bake them in the oven, cook them on the stove top or grill on the BBQ. Our family likes them best on the grill. You want to make sure and cook them till internal temperate of the pork is at least 145 degrees. We also like to take the pineapple from can (juice used in the recipe) and grill it up with a little brown sugar on the grill.
