Candy Corn Cups
These Candy Corn Cups are super easy and fun to make for kids this fall or a Halloween party. We had a witches and wizards tea party and invited some cousins over and had these. I think my daughter ate 4 she loved them so much. LOL
These are fairly simple and healthy too. You only need a few ingredients but a piece of candy corn on the top is a cute garnish.
These are the ingredients I used to make 12 servings:
3 15 oz cans of mandarin oranges drained
1 5.1 oz box of vanilla pudding OR 3 cans pineapple chunks drained
Candy Corn (optional for garnish)
Clear Plastic Cups
First Layer is the pudding or pineapple…
This is so easy that the kids can help too! I started by making the pudding according to the box directions. I just used vanilla pudding but you could add a couple of drops of yellow food coloring to make it really yellow like the candy. I put 1/4 cup pudding in the bottom of each clear cup. I covered them in plasitc wrap and let them sit in the fridge for a few hours to make sure the pudding was set.
You can layer chunks of pineapple in the bottom for the yellow layer. Which is a healthier option or if you don’t like pudding. Also, if you’re using pineapple you obviously don’t have to wait for the pudding to firm up.
When the pudding is firm add some mandarin oranges. My 7 year old helped me with this and he added enough to get a nice orange layer in each cup.
When you are ready to serve, add a good squirt of whipped cream and top with a piece candy corn.
And there you go! A super easy and healthy Halloween treat or snack for fall.
