Directions:
1. Begin by applying a coat or two of white craft paint to the jar or can. Apply as many coats as you wish for the coverage you desire. Remember, the holder will be mostly covered with the leaves, so you don’t need the paint to be perfect.
2. Snip the leaves free from any branches or stems they are on. You will only need the leaf itself for this craft. Apply some glue generously to the back of the leaf, and press it to the can or jar. Hold it in place until it is secure.
3. Continue layering on leaves until the jar is coated all the way around. As you can see we left a little space at the top of the jar.
4. Finish the utensil holder by wrapping a length of twine or ribbon around the jar and tie it into a bow.

Once your glue is dry, your frugal fall utensil holder is ready to be used. Simple slide in any spoons, utensils, even office supplies if you wish. It is the perfect tool for staying organized while being festive at the same time.

Gather your supplies and give this frugal fall utensil holder a try!

Witch Feet Cupcakes ~ Quick, Easy, Halloween Treats

Paper straws are big right now.  You can find all kinds of them all over right now.  When I saw these black and orange ones, I thought they looked like tights and came up with this idea.

You will need:

  • Cupcakes that are baked and iced
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Striped paper straws
  • Small witches feet cut outs (I cut mine out with my Silhouette machine, but you could find some by searching for them online and printing them off.  Mine were about an inch each)
  • Hot glue and hot glue gun

Begin by cutting your straws into 3 sections.  Don’t stress too much if they aren’t perfectly even, you can push them down a little further into the cupcake.  You can then attach the shoes to the straw sections using hot glue.  Let them cool and make sure you remove any glue strings that may be hanging before putting them into the cupcake.

I used some fall leaf sprinkles, maybe my witches were jumping into piles of leaves!  There you have a super simple party food that people will love and think is cute!  I served them at a family get together and the kids thought they were great!

Witch toes easy Halloween snack

Make these Witch toes easy Halloween snack for your Halloween party.

Witch toes easy Halloween snack

These witch toe snacks are so fun for a party or just a fun snack for after school. So incredibly easy to make and next to no supplies needed. This is all you need: Almond Joy cookies and banana Runts. They make a gnarly curved finger nail which is just what a witch’s toe needs.Witch toes easy Halloween snack

All you have to do is take your Runts candy and gently push it into your Almond Joy. Of course, any candy bar will work, but I liked the little “growth” the almond makes on the top of the toe. The banana runts
