its not so much thrifty as it is either safety – like on vacation or to save power by making sure they are off..

yes each switch needs one, normal switches dont have controls in them to move independently, (each switch not each light…)
This is really cool. But, do you need to buy a switch for each light you want to use in the app? I would love to put these in all our basement lights (lights get left on all the time) but at six switches it would not be very thrifty! 😮 Thanks for the tip. Gregory Cash Hill – fyi

5 screws with the power off and you’ve installed it! It’s easy – Hubby and I will be doing an instructional video in january on how to install this! Any one can do it and then you can control your light with your phone or tablet while you are away from home! great if you forget to turn it off, want it on when you get home, or if you go on vacation you can turn it on and off to give the impression you are still home!
