Healthy Halloween Treats for Kids, Orange Pumpkins
As a little girl Halloween was my favorite holiday because it meant I got to eat CANDY! My Mom use to always make a special meal that we all loved so we would fill our tummies with good food before we started the sugar rush. It was just a normal meal, but having some fun Halloween recipes would have been fun. That is what has prompted me to to look for healthy yet “spooky or fun” options to share with my kids. If you are going to have a Halloween party or Halloween themed meal there are lots of creative and simple ways to make healthy food just as fun and the sugary food. These orange pumpkins with celery stems are so cute and festive. They are also super easy to make!
All you need is:
1 bag of tangerine or cuties
4 stalks of celery
Peel all oranges, best to do right before serving (or store them in an airtight container). Cut the celery in half lengthwise, then chop into 1″ piece of celery, place in the top of the orange. Easy as that you have cute Halloween Pumpkins ready to serve! Great for school parties, or October Fall carnivals too!
