Crockpot Baked Potatoes

Crockpot Baked Potatoes

I love making baked potatoes in my crockpot. Its easy to do and I don’t have to worry about having my oven on for an hour right before dinner. Last night my kids had a thing and we weren’t home until 5:45 pm and it was great to pull the potatoes out of the crockpot hot and ready to go for dinner.

Easy 3 step process:

  1. Wash your potatoes and dry them.
  2. Rub the potatoes with olive oil and salt. I just line my up like in the picture above and drizzle olive oil over them all and then rub them to distribute the oil and then add the salt.
  3. Wrap the potatoes in tinfoil and put them in the crockpot. Cook on high covered for 5ish hours. You can cook them on low for 8ish hours – perfect for putting them in before work and they’re ready when you get home.

All done! It’s really that easy. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy a super easy dinner.
