If you have an old flower pot, you have the makings of a monster on your hands! Take a look below at how we created a Frankenstein Flower Pot, perfect for the upcoming Halloween season! You too can craft your own Frankenstein, using a flower pot and a few other common crafting supplies. Take a look at how to get started.

Halloween Crafts for Kids, Frankenstine Flower Pot, #Halloween, #DIY, #CraftDirections:

1. Begin by applying two coats of craft paint to your flower pot. Allow the coats to dry in between for the best coverage. If you need to, you can add additional coats.

2. Once the paint is totally dry (it will take a good hour, as the terra cotta dries slowly) you can attached your eyes. Take a pair of googly eyes and apply a drop of glue to the back of each. Press the eyes to the pot. Hold them in place until they are dry and secure.

3. You can now take the black marker and create the other facial features on your Frankenstein. We made a straight line and added some scores to it to create the mouth. We then made some lines on the top rim of the flower pot to look like hair. You can mimic the details we created, or you can have fun and create your own. There really is no right or wrong way to decorate your monster and make him come to life. Give this easy and inexpensive Frankenstein flower pot a try. It is a great way to get crafty this Halloween season and really have some frugal fun!
